A co-creator of dark web drug enterprise Empire Market agreed to forfeit 1,230 bitcoin ($101 million), after receiving a 40-year federal prison sentence for his role in operating the site. Raheim Hamilton, 30, of Suffolk, Virginia, also agreed to forfeit 24.4.

The bitcoin miner’s transfer does not confirm a sale, but comes as its treasury has fallen from 53,822 BTC in February to 35,577 BTC in August. Bitcoin miner MARA Holdings MARA transferred approximately 996 BTC ($81.13 million) to an address identified as belonging to Galaxy Digital, according to data tracked by Lookonchain. While the coins were moved, the transfer alone does not confirm that Galaxy Digital GLXY executed a sale.
